Astra Carpets was formed in 1986 by Brothers-in-law Patrick Galligan and Paul Jeffery, who upon retirement sold the the business to long serving employees Brian Matthews and Zeenat Kapasi.
To this day it remains a business with the same strong values of giving excellent value and service. It has built up an enviable reputation in Derby and the surrounding areas for the quality of its fitting service.

In 2000 Astra expanded in to Contract and Commercial Flooring. Initially Astra worked with local clients but as their reputation grew they were asked to work further afield and now do work across the country.
